Monday 12th May and after almost missing my flight due to an accident on the M25 I am on my way to visit Lac Royale in France for the second time and in just over an hour I will be at Limoges airport just thirty minutes from the Lake. The Ryanair flight lands on time and it's just minutes before I clear customs and met by Wayne one of the crew from Lac Royale. We take the Lac Royale shuttle bus the short drive to the lake and arrive to be greeted by Barry (shaggy) and Karen and some very hot weather.

April finished nicely for me with a 27lbs 2oz mirror from a local club water. It was caught during a short session and was hooked just inches from the bank. It's the time of year now when margin fishing and surface fishing are really coming into their own.
